Acadia National Park

We finally made it to the coast today and we drove through the Park ,The views were beautiful. I am so glad that we have made it here because this is the first time we have been to Maine and I look forward to seeing more.

Cadillac Mountain

In the Acadia National Park there is Cadillac Mountain you have a 360 view of Bar Harbor. While we were up there we had a nice picnic lunch.

Thunder Hole

In the park there is a place called thunder hole we stopped to check it out. They call it that because of the sound it makes when the tide comes in. It was pretty cool.

Sunset in Bar Harbor

At the end of the day Dale and I rode into Bar Harbor town to meet up with everyone. We ate dinner then we took a walk around ,down by the water we saw the sunset this is always a beautiful site.

Day 5 Maine

We did a lot of driving today I didn't get very many picture .The roads were a little bumpy at times but over all the ride was nice. The White Mountains remind me of the Smokey Mountains the only difference is that there are more mountain ranges here that cover more states.We also saw a couple different lakes.Look forward to tomorrow we will be on the coast.

My Talk

After we got to Bangor Maine today we went out to eat at My Talk. While we were there a band was setting up so we all decided to become groupies. The band was called Rodeo and they were very good,but you could tell we were in the right place because we were all about the same age, maybe some of them were a little older.We had a great time watching and dancing(even if it was only 1 slow dance for me).

Day 4 Mt.Washington Auto Tour

Today we took a ride up to the top of Mt. Washington it was an 8 mile drive up. I really enjoyed the drive the higher we got the more beautiful the view was. The road went from blacktop to dirt roads ,I loved the ride up and down.
